Discover Sigournais by using its hour long footpaths that leads you in and around the village to the ancient wash place, the fountain, the church and its wooden painted scenery, the feudal castle, ancient shops, old houses – all tied up with the historical footpath through the villages of Chassais and le Requerre.

Nature is ever present within the area of leisure of la Morlière : restaurant, picnic tables, games for children, pedestrian footpaths and the lake of Rochereau. Sigournais is known for its delicate, dry white wine : ‘la Folle’, a footpath of vine huts helps you discover the wine growing heritage. In the centre of the village there is one restaurant le Saturnin, a local shop selling fishing cards. Numerous events take place all year round, sponsored by the local associations : the 14th of July celebration and St Jean fires on 3rd Saturday of June
